See more birds. The key to attracting colorful birds to your backyard habitat is providing the proper food they desire. Nyjer® Seed has tested to be one of the most popular single ingredients for feeding finches. This was seen in a test known as PROJECT WILDBIRD®. It was conducted by the Wild Bird Feeding Industry from 2005 to 2008.

Birds Attracted:

American Goldfinch, Common Redpoll, House Finch, Indigo Bunting, Lesser Goldfinch, Pine Siskin, and Purple Finch.

It is important to remember that most seed eating birds have specific preferences. You can draw more finches and other birds by adding other products your feeding plan.

The Finest Nutrients. See The Difference. All Lyric wild bird foods are carefully selected for nutritional content, cleanliness and quality. Proteins and fats are important to fuel wild birds’ high level of daily activity. Whether it’s foraging for food in the winter or energy for spring nest building, you can trust Lyric to provide your backyard birds with all-natural, quality foods.

Choosing feeders. Lyric Nyjer® Seed is best used in finch tube feeders. These feeders have specially designed smaller access holes to the food. This feature keeps the small Nyjer® seeds from spilling out of the feeder. Finch tube feeders normally also have small perches. The small perches and holes dissuade larger nuisance birds from visiting these feeders

You can also use woven finch sacks, feed in open trays and spread Nyjer® seed on the ground. Squirrels typically do not eat Nyjer® seed.

NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR DOMESTIC (CAGED) BIRDS. CAUTION TO INDIVIDUALS WITH NUT ALLERGIES: WHILE THIS MIXTURE MAY NOT CONTAIN NUTS, IT IS MANUFACTURED AND STORED WITH PRODUCTS THAT DO.
